The large conference room on the third floor of the lab accommodates up to 100 people, and there are several other meeting areas for smaller groups. Equipment available includes:

  • Digital video camera
  • Flipcharts
  • Movie, slide, overhead, and LCD projectors
  • TVs and VCRs
  • Worktables
  • Videoconferencing (by arrangement)

Classrooms and Workshops

Faculty and students from all disciplines can arrange space and accommodations for holding classes and workshops on the island.  Stone Lab features classrooms and computer labs with all the current technology to teach and learn in any field. But with scenic views of Lake Erie and the serene setting of the island, the great outdoors may be the best “classroom” on Gibraltar!

Meals

Guests enjoy meals together at the Dining Hall, built in 1929 as one of the first steps in the university’s development on Gibraltar.  There are also a variety of casual and fine dining restaurants in nearby Put-in-Bay. (For information on additional accommodations in the Put-in-Bay area, visit www.put-in-bay.com.)
