Bringing together faculty, teaching assistants, staff and students, the Faculty Involvement program in the residence halls creates strong communities of Buckeyes.  The Faculty Involvement program promotes mentoring relationships in which students can learn more about what it means to be a professor, researcher or staff member at the university.

Whether faculty members present on their current cutting-edge research, join students for a meal or bring their families in the residence halls for an ice cream social or a movie night, these opportunities allow students to meet faculty outside of the classroom environment.

Please use the links on the left to learn more about the Faculty Involvement program in University Housing.

"One of the most encouraging aspects of being a faculty friend is meeting students from my floor who will, often long after moving out of the residence hall, tell me how much he or she appreciated getting to personally know a faculty member and feeling like they had someone they could go to if they needed help."    - Dr. Peg McMahon, College of Food, Agricultural, & Environmental Science

“The level of faculty involvement is a big plus for students in LCs. Thanks to my program, I’m on a first-name basis with advisors, professors, and the assistant dean.”     - Dave, Pharmacy House Learning Community
