Living on campus has been proven to enhance students’ success at Ohio State. There are 37 residence halls located close to classes. To apply for housing a student must:

1. Apply, and be admitted to, the University through the Office of Admissions.
2. Check the box on the Admissions application requesting housing information.
3. Pay the Acceptance Fee (for autumn quarter housing requests only).
4. Contracts will be mailed based on the date the Acceptance Fee is paid as follows:
   • Autumn Quarter mailings are sent weekly beginning in early March.
   • Winter Quarter mailings are sent weekly beginning in late October.
   • Spring Quarter mailings are sent weekly beginning in late January.
   • Summer Quarter mailings are sent bi-weekly beginning in mid-April.
